Local Home Based Business Struggles

The economy is really bad at this time and it seems it's only going to get worse.
Since Obama got into office our sales have gone down around 75% and its getting very hard to keep all of our websites but if they are not making us enough money to pay our over head then we will have to shut down.

Rats for Pets

A local family decided they wanted to get a pet and decided to get Rats for Pets.
When people hear the word rat they seem to think only nasty thoughts since we all seem to think rats are nasty rodents that live in the sewers but Fancy Rats which are domesticated and believe it or not are very clean since they are like a cat and always grooming themselves.

Santa visits local home and poses for picture

Last night was a special night for a Highland Heights family as they have proof Santa Claus is real.
It seems Mrs. Claus was with Santa last night and took a picture of Santa standing next to their Christmas Tree and then uploaded that picture on their computer to give them a great surprise when they woke up on Christmas to open up their presents.

NFL's Chris Henry dies after fall from truck

Cincinnati Bengals football player Chris Henry has died, police in Charlotte, North Carolina, confirmed Thursday.
Henry
suffered "life-threatening injuries" after falling out of the bed of a
pickup during a fight with his fiancee, police said earlier.

incident occurred shortly before noon Wednesday when Henry's fiancee
tried to drive off...

1 Killed In Florence TANK Bus Crash

Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky bus.
The crash happened at about 9 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of
Turfway Road and Dixie Highway in Florence in the far right lane,
police said.
Officers
said the bus was parked at the time and that it was rear-ended by
another vehicle.

First off we need to get past the thought of Rats as being those nasty city dwellers that live in the sewer systems of all major cities and know pet rats are very sociable as well as very clean and better know as fancy rats which are domesticated and make very good pets.
Before you go out and buy a rat you should know a few things first.

Bishop Brossart High School closes due to swine flu

Increasing cases of the flu have prompted a local high school to close for the rest of the week.
Bishop Brossart High School will be closed Tuesday through Friday, including cancelling all extra-curricular activities.
Today's absentee rate reached 20 percent, prompting the school to send students home early.

H1N1 Swine flu reaches Campbell County KY

It was just a matter of time before the H1N1 Swine Flu made it to Campbell County, Kentucky and parents are asking "what do we do now."
It seems people do not take the necessary step for out breaks like the H1N1 Swine Flu until it reaches their neighborhood and now many parents are not sure what to do to protect their family.

NKU reports case of swine flu

Northern Kentucky University has up to 4 students that have been tested positive for H1N1 influenza. NKU became aware of these confirmed
case when the student's parent called to inform the Office of
University Housing. The student
is staying home from classes and is not current on campus.
The university has ordered test kits to distinguish between Type A and
Type B influenza and plans this week to begin testing on-campus, but
will not be testing for H1N1.
