If you have driven on U.S. 27 you have seen a guy that always waves at every car, truck or motor cycle that goes by. Getting Honked makes him a happy man.

"When I first saw that man waving at everyone it made me laugh, and we would see him all the time and he would always waved at all the cars that passed by and my dad would blow the horn which made the man really happy because he would wave his hands back and forth at us" said Kayliauna Rayne Bellamy of Highland Heights.

That man would be Brent Rooney of Alexandria who calls himself Karma Jen Soulace instead of his given name and he now has the name "Waving Guy."

Rooney said he only wants to make people happy and what better way is to always wave at people. He likes it when people blow their horn at him. "That lets me know they saw me waving at them and I hope they have a smile on their face when they see me" said Rooney.

Life is short and its my mission to get people to smile and we need all the smiles we can get with the tough times we have economically and other wise, he said.

Rooney walks from Alexandria to Cold Spring all the time and he waves at everyone as they go by and he really like the honks so the next time you see Karma Jen Soulace be sure to "HONK.'
