From the time he putted a golf ball at the age of 2 on "The Mike Douglas Show," Tiger Woods has been a golden child.

While athletes in different professions dealt with doping scandals and other controversies, Woods continued to do what he did best: dominate the field of professional golf and rake in endorsements.

But it is that squeaky-clean image, and the tightly controlled persona Woods has cultivated over the course of his career, that experts say is fueling speculation and interest in the circumstances surrounding his recent car accident.

"I recently purchase some Lodge Logic Cast Iron Skillets and I recently read an article while searching for information about cast iron skillets which said "anyone who has cooked with Iron Skillets knows at least once how it feels when you grab the handle of your HOT Skillet. OUCH!."

The H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu virus, could infect between 30 percent and 50 percent of the American population during the fall and winter and lead to as many as 1.8 million U.S. hospital admissions, the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology reported.

The report says 30,000 to 90,000 deaths are projected as part of a "plausible scenario" involving large outbreaks at schools, inadequate antiviral supplies and the virus peaking before vaccinations have time to be effective.

Sleep apnea causes a person to stop breathing repeatedly during their sleep—often for as long as a minute or more, and up to hundreds of times during the night. Of the three types of apnea that include obstructive, central, and mixed, the most common type is obstructive.

Today, we know that a high-fat diet, consumed long term, can lead to problems such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and a decline in cognitive ability, to name a few. But a recent study by researchers at Oxford University shows it may only take a few days for fat-laden food to begin wreaking havoc on our health.

To learn more about the short-term effects of a high-fat diet, the researchers conducted an extensive experiment with 32 rats. The rodents were fed a low-fat diet, comprised of 7.5 percent fat, for two months as they trained to complete a challenging maze and to run on a treadmill.

President Obama at a town hall meeting earlier this week pushing his health care reform plan

"The fact of the matter is there are not the votes in the United States Senate for a public option. There never have been," Conrad said on "Fox News Sunday."

His comment signaled a shift in the health care debate, with Obama and senior advisers softening their support for a public option by saying final form of the legislation is less important than the principle of affordable coverage available to all.
