Sure, he lied. And lied. And lied some more. But he’s sorry, okay? He’s sorry he lied to cover up the fact that it surfaced the agency had been hacking into Senate computers to try and cover up investigations into torture.
Sure, he mockingly dismissed those allegations over and over and over earlier this year, even telling the Council on Foreign Relations they absolutely didn’t do it, as seen in this video… but, come on.
He gave an “extraordinary apology” on Thursday according to The Guardian. What more do you want? He’s sorry.
