How the Oakland Raiders welcomed back Jon Gruden – Oakland Raiders Blog

The Oakland Raiders made it official Tuesday: Jon Gruden is back as head coach.

Gruden, who went 38-26 in four seasons as the Raiders coach from 1998 to 2001, says he’s “ready to work.”

Along with current Oakland players, such as quarterback Derek Carr, numerous Raiders alumni were in attendance to welcome Gruden, including Tim Brown, Howie Long, Charles Woodson, Rich Gannon and more.
